Ahhhh... what a night! One of the best I've attended. Geeesh... I miss Santa Cruz and the Happy Brigade and little intimate RRE shows!

Jim said "But I don't recall the sax player on "Sitting Here In Limbo". They are not listed on the setlist. I didn't keep a list that night so no notes of my own."
It was the same sax player who played TWO saxes at once on MESS! ; ) Andy. It was indeed a special church night. And it proceeded onward after.

I guess ppl have their reasons for giving this show less than 5 stars. OK, if you're REALLY picky about the "energy level" of the show, it MIGHT rate a 4. Moe's Alley has always been a great venue for bands, and RRE's shows there are always high-energy and awesome. This one is no exception. It's longer than most of the Cali shows from the spring of '04, so you get both quality AND quantity. The audio's great, too. I love this show and have no qualms whatsoever about giving it a solid THUMBS UP and FIVE STARS!

Easily the greatest show I have heard. I have listened to this show for almost a month straight. The 1st disc is unreal. Great show alltogether. This is a must have.

... sigh always a jokester in the crowd, personally I think this show is just a wee bit over rated, Mr Grant is too low in the mix for my tastes, I suppose I will have to listen more ...

It's an interesting show to listen to for someone who wasn't there. The first and third discs sound like these guys are really drained from tour. I have to imagine that as exciting as having guests on stage, they added to the slopiness of this show. Although the crowd seems rowdy and the band plays off them well, its not half as tight as the night before. On the other hand, this show seems to be atleast an hour longer...go figure.

Of the 145 shows available here, this one is currently my favorite. Great sound again on this one. The bonus of Pete Grant on pedal steel makes it even better. Damn what a great sounding show, sounds just magical. Only way this could be better is if I was there myself.

I was at this show--OMG what a night! I've been waiting for this show in particular to appear here. This one was OFF THE CHARTS! The best setlist of the tour, IMHO. The energy in that room was electrifying! I still have goose bumps!
One correction--d2t06 is Bluegrass Breakdown, not Brown County Breakdown

This is an epic. Kudos to the crowd who obviously spurred the band onto the heights. It doesn't hurt that Peter Grant is sittin' in.
